Hepatectomy

Right (V-VIII) vs Left (II-III) vs extended/trisegmentectomy (add IV).
Steps
Right subcostal vs midline incision (for left).
Mobilize triangular ligament.
Cholecystectomy + cystic duct cannulation.
Vessel loop to control blood supply.
Ligate hepatic artery → portal vein → then hepatic vein.
Divide parenchyma.
Use U/S, Cantlie’s line, & middle hepatic vein to guide.
